Sara Johnson, Director of Pre/Postnatal Fitness
Sara holds an American College of Sports Medicine Exercise Physiologist Certification with a degree in business/minor in fitness. She has also obtained several specialty certificates in pre/postnatal fitness (SCW and DSW Fitness) and is a certified PhysicalMind mat and reformer instructor (2002). You might also see her teaching TRX, group cycling, body sculpting, kettle bell and boot camp. She has been involved in the fitness industry her entire life, specializing in both pre/postnatal fitness and general back care. She keeps very busy raising her three kids, cooking, reading, and helping the local Lions club.
As a mom of three young kids, this class gives me the well-needed break (from the kids!) and has made me more fit than I have ever been. It’s tough, but a fantastic workout that has helped so much in losing that baby weight. It helps target those areas of the body that need more strengthening after pregnancy, which i love, and the small group class gives a lot of one-on-one attention. If there’s one thing a mom should do for herself, it’s this class. Every mom deserves to know how strong she actually is.
