New Leaf Metabolic Training

Harbor Athletic Club has invested in a state-of-the-art training system called New Leaf Metabolic Training.  This system entails a sub-max exercise test in which the computer is able to create your personal heart rate zones and see where you are burning fat.  Many people find that they are either working out too easy or too hard.  The structured run/bike/elliptical program that you receive after the test is most helpful in getting true results efficiently, measured objectively. 

This system also allows us to test your resting metabolic rate.  This number is useful if you do not know how much you should be eating in a day or if you suspect that you have a low metabolism. 

These tests are available to both members and non-members
