Our roster of mind-body classes offers unique opportunities to improve mental and physical strength and awareness. Pilates consists of controlled movements with the use of either a floor mat or a reformer bed. These exercises strengthen and lengthen muscles while improving balance, posture, and flexibility. Yoga combines bodily poses, breathe control, and meditation to achieve an optimal balance of mind, body, and spirit. The gentle and self-paced movements of Tai-chi increase stamina, energy, and agility as well as a heightened sense of well-being.
Pilates is a mind-body art that simultaneously improves mental and physical well-being. Using controlled movements in the form of mat exercises or equipment, Pilates tones and strengthens the body. At Harbor, we offer a variety of Pilates mat and equipment classes, as well as group and private sessions, to best meet your specific needs.
Reformer Group Classes ‚Äì Participate in a complete body workout leaving you refreshed and invigorated. Advanced reservation and fee required. An introductory reformer session with a certified Pilates trainer required before entering into the group setting.
Tai Chi is a noncompetitive, self-paced system of gentle physical exercise and stretching. Tai chi is used to:
- Reduce stress
- Increase flexibility
- Improve muscle strength and definition
- Increase energy, stamina and agility
- Increase feelings of well-being
