CYCLING CLASSES

INTRO TO CYCLING:
New to indoor cycling? Start with this 15 minute class and get all the basics to studio cycling and lots of TLC.

PERFORMANCE CYCLING:
Virtual hills, sprints and long distance flats guide the beginner to trained athlete to greater performance. Periodization theory is applied following techniques to make your body as efficient as possible. Class to return late fall.

STUDIO CYCLING:
This class consists of athletic and rhythmic interval training drills, using speed and resistance to give a realistic and awesome workout on the bike.

**Please advise class instructor of any health conditions**
**Classes may be removed from schedule when and if participation becomes too low**
**Age requirement, 14 and older for all classes*

 

 

 

WATTS CYCLING:
What are watts? The work required to move a bike down the road is measured in watts. To define it very simply, Watts = Force x Cadence, or how hard you press on the pedals multiplied by the number of times per minute you apply this force. Come try this class and learn another way of getting a GREAT workout on our new Keiser bikes. This class will is appropriate for all ability levels from average indoor cyclists to those training for the Ironman. Instructor will offer regular fitness gauging through performance testing.
