Deep H2O Arthritis *

Location: Sport Pool.

A deep water Arthritis class designed to offer a greater challenge to participants able to tolerate more activity than the standard Arthritis class format in the Warm Water Pool. Must be comfortable exercising in Deep H2O with a flotation belt. Belt is required and provided. Classes are taught by Arthritis Foundation Certified instructors. Physician’s authorization form is required for regular participation. 45 minute class. * Class held inside.

Location: Sport Pool.

Water running with a flotation belt in deep water is a great cardiovascular workout with a lot less stress on joints. This class will provide an excellent option for the beginning and advanced water exercise participant. Classes are easy to follow and are a great alternative for anyone looking for an aerobic workout while recovering from an injury. * Class held inside.

Cycling for Triathletes
Apr 28 @ 5:45 pm – 6:45 pm

Instructor: Rachel Fishbain

Location: Wellness B2 Studio

Coached rides designed for the cyclist and triathlete to gain strength, endurance and confidence for your racing season. Focus on skills, intervals and pacing in a group atmosphere to bring your biking to the next level along with some fun and camaraderie! This is not a normal spin class! Each participant will receive a weekly email with workouts to do as well as some helpful tips related to the cycling discipline of your race. Registration includes a free water bottle.

Pre/Post Natal Aqua Bootcamp

A mix of shallow and deep water exercises for all levels. Experience the benefits of exercise – less swelling and low impact – decreasing stress on your joints and pelvis. Suitable for any trimester. Outdoors weather permitting, otherwise indoors.

A moderate intensity level class beginning with gentle range of motion exercises progressing to a 30-minute cardiovascular workout. Also focuses on increasing strength and improving posture and balance by using equipment and/or the water’s natural resistance. Advanced Level.

This class focuses on using the natural support and resistance of the water to re- lieve stiffness and stress associated with FIBROMYALGIA, CHRONIC FATIGUE, and ARTHRITIS. Class participant’s exercise in gentle movement patterns, work on balance and breathing techniques. Includes AI CHI. All levels.
