Outdoor HIIT

What is HIIT? High Intensity Interval Training of strength and cardio. Short all out burst of intensity followed by short periods of rest. Burn a ton of calories and burn fat long after your work out is over. Increase your fitness level by increasing your VO2 Max better than steady state cardio. The Dept of Health and Human Services states that 75min of vigorous intensity exercise is comparable to 150min of moderate exercise.

Beginning Tai Chi for Health & Arthritis (sun)

Appropriate for those starting in their practice of Tai Chi to learn the foundation for and the Tai Chi Fundamentals Form of 32 movements. People with limited physical ability can use chairs in this class if they wish. Intro Class Recommended before attending beginning class. Sun Form – Gentle and effective movement with more of a sense of buoyancy and “airiness” due to the manner that the upper body is used.

After class find some space in the gym for some foam rolling or perhaps keep the workout going in one of our awesome spin classes!
