About Prenatal + FIT4MOM
The Harbor programs, Prenatal Aqua Fit and Prenatal Yoga, are run through the Harbor Website and Mind Body. These classes are offered in 8 week sessions and you can start class at any time during the session if space allows.
Prenatal aqua fit is designed as a safe and fun way for pregnant women to get their cardio, strength and core work in, all while in the weightless comfort of a pool. Each session includes a variety of moves borrowed from traditional water fitness classes and swim team classes that will help participants get their heart rate up and strengthen all those muscles that a new mom will need. Swim skill is not required and we never put our faces in, however we willsometime be in water over your head.
All stages of pregnancy and levels of yoga experience welcome. Whether you are a new or experienced yoga student, our prenatal trained yoga teacher will guide you gracefully through meditation, breathing, and movement specialized for the prenatal body and mind. Designed to both nurture and challenge you, this prenatal yoga class is intended to empower and inspire yourself for birth while providing a space to connect with other mamas. You’ll benefit from much needed relaxation, while strengthening the muscles that support your baby during pregnancy, birth and the postpartum period including your pelvic floor and core musculature.
FIT4MOM + Postnatal
Harbor is proud to offer additional classes through FIT4MOM Madison. FIT4BABY is designed specifically for moms-to-be. All exercises are carefully selected to prepare your body for the many changes you will experience during pregnancy. You can begin FIT4BABY at any point during pregnancy as the workouts are scientifically- based, purposeful and designed to accommodate your changing body. The 60-minute workout includes cardio, strength, balance, and flexibility training and ends with a relaxing meditation; everything you need during this precious time!
FIT4MOM Stroller Strides
Stroller Strides is a total fitness program that moms can do with their babies. It includes power walking and intervals of strength and body toning exercises using exercise tubing, the stroller and the environment. Taught by certified and specially trained fitness instructors, it is a great workout for any level of exerciser. Stroller Strides instructors weave songs and activities into the routine designed to entertain and engage baby, while moms are led through a series of exercises specific to her role as mom. Classes are offered outdoors May-October and indoors November-April.
FIT4MOM Stroller Barre
Stroller Strides is a functional, total-body conditioning workout designed for moms with kids in tow. Each 60-minute workout is comprised of strength training, cardio and core restoration, all while entertaining the little ones with songs, activities and fun! Each Stroller Strides instructor is skilled to meet you where you are mentally & physically. You’ll leave class feeling connected, successful & energized. No more mama guilt! This class is all about self care in a supportive and encouraging environment. Classes are indoors in the cooler months and outdoors in the summer.
FIT4MOM Body Back Transformation
Body Back Transformation is an 8-week result based journey. You will focus on your mind and body improving your overall health and well being. The experience includes high-intensity interval workouts (HIIT) designed to challenge, empower, and recharge you. The program also includes nutrition guidance, supplemental online workouts, accountability, pre and post fitness assessments and support. This journey will reconnect you to your inner strength and encourage you to believe in personal transformation.
FIT4MOM Body Back Drop-In
Body Back® is a 60-minute, results-based workout designed to help you reach your full physical potential and reconnect to your inner strength. Our high-intensity interval training (HIIT) cycles through cardio, strength, and core work and concludes with a relaxing meditation to help you recharge and head back to your family. Improve your health, fitness, and physical strength while experiencing a personal transformation.
FIT4MOM Run Club
Whether you’re preparing for an upcoming race or simply enjoy running with other like-minded mamas, Run Club is for you. A program for all levels, Run Club allows you to run, improve your health and fitness, and connect with other moms through two styles of class: Run Clinics which are designed to correct running form and increase speed and agility, and Run Days designed to increase endurance. No running experience required! Run Club is outdoors weather permitting or indoors on treadmills.
