Tammy has practiced yoga for years for her own health and is a certified teacher of yoga through the RYT Yoga Alliance. She received her 200 hour teacher training through the Feel Your Best yoga school. Through this training, she uses Ashtanga yoga, Iyengar yoga, Viniyoga, Ananda yoga and some Pilates and Anusara to create a well-integrated class. This focus and training also allows for individualization, so that anyone can practice yoga. In addition, Tammy is trained as a yoga therapist, using yoga to help with mental, physical and spiritual problems specific to individual needs.
