Kids Club Team Member
We are seeking an upbeat and enthusiastic team member to join us in Kids Club. This team member will supervise and entertain children while their parents are working out at Harbor Athletic Club. Candidates should have previous experience working with children.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Supervise children ages 0-14 while parents are on the premises
- Interact and play games with children
- Connect with children and their parents
- Work as a team to create a safe comfortable environment
What we’re looking for:
- Basic knowledge of caring for children of various ages
- Willingness to learn
- Happy and upbeat personality
- Ability to multi-task while watching multiple children at a time
- Complete scheduled daily chores
- Availability Monday-Friday mornings and early afternoons
Aquatics Team Member
We are seeking an energetic and fun individual to join our aquatics team. This team member will teach Group Swim Lessons, Private Swim Lessons and Lifeguard our pools. The ideal candidate has prior competitive swim experience and must be a certified lifeguard. Prior experience teaching swim lessons is a plus, but not necessary. Our team will train you to teach according to our Swim School curriculum. You bring your knowledge, personality, and fun to each class.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Teach group and private swim lessons according to our Harbor Swim School curriculum
- Knowledge and ability to correct form to improve swim technique
- Connect with members and their children to create an enthusiastic community
- Work with clients to help achieve their goals
What we’re looking for:
- Knowledge of the sport of swimming and proper technique
- Positive, motivating, and effective interpersonal communication skills
- Desire and capacity to train all fitness levels
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to multi-task and stay organized
- Availability Monday-Friday afternoons/evenings and weekends
Personal Trainer
We are seeking a Personal Trainer with a passion for working with people of all ages in their lifelong journey of health. The ideal candidate has a current Personal Training or CSCS Certification and can offer 1-on-1 training, as well as in a small group.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Effectively train clients of a wide range of ages and abilities
- Personal Training 1-on-1 as well as small group classes
- Possibility of working in other areas of the Club based on experience
What we’re looking for:
- Experience in the field working with clients of different ages and backgrounds
- Reliable, hardworking and someone who can efficiently handle their own schedule
- Excellent customer service skills
- Positive, motivating and effective interpersonal communication skills when working with clients as well as other staff and your director
- Ability to multi-task and stay organized
- 4 year degree in a related field or some college classes in the field a huge plus
- CPR and First Aid Certification
- Availability Monday-Friday daytime, evenings and weekends
Maintenance Team Member
We are seeking a permanent part-time person to join our Maintenance team.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Availability 20+ hours per week as a cleaner and maintenance staff member
- Sunday-Thursday, Overnight 11:00 pm – 6:00 am
- Duties may include but are not limited to: mopping floors; cleaning bathrooms; cleaning mirrors and windows; vacuuming; emptying trash; restocking of supplies and various other cleaning tasks that may arise
- Experience with pool maintenance and upkeep a plus
