About Parkinson’s Exercise Program and Classes
Harbor Athletic Club is proud to offer exercise classes for those with Parkinson’s disease. Our certified instructors teach participant’s exercises based on the Parkinsons Wellness Recovery (PWR) training method to assist in improving lives through movement.
Parkinson's Classes
Classes are $80 per 8-week session per person. Medical clearance required for all classes. If you know someone or would like to become a participant, please contact Harbor Wellness Studios @ 608-821-6501. Classes located at Harbor Wellness Studios.
Parkinson's Fitness Plus
Certified instructors teach exercises based on the Parkinson’s Wellness Recovery (PWR) training method to assist in improving lives through movement.
This class is more rigorous than PD Fit and includes regular use of a treadmill during class.
PD Fit
Balance, Flexibility, Strength and Stamina exercises designed for those with Parkinson’s disease. A chair and/or a ballet barre will be used as a prop for added stability and challenge. You may bring an assistant with you to class for additional support as needed.
