I was exposed to athletics at a very early age, which led to competing nationally and internationally as a gymnast. I always had love for learning and a strong desire to help others, so I made the decision to become a physician. I graduated from the Semmelweis University (Hungary) with an M.D. degree in 1990. We moved to the US, in 1992, and I worked at the St Joseph’s Cancer Institute in Tampa, FL. At this time, I developed an interest in the holistic approach to health and became trained in Chinese medicine.
I received my 200 Hour Yoga Alliance Certification through Inner Fire Teacher Training in 2012, and fell in love with the depths and endless layers yoga can offer. I’m continually seeking to grow as a teacher; I also committed to teach with safety and body awareness. My classes range from therapeutic and restorative style classes to energetic, strengthening Vinyasa Flows, recognizing the value in all methods of yoga.
“Why do I teach yoga?”
“Yoga enables me to combine my medical knowledge with my belief in the holistic approach to physical and emotional ailments. I firmly believe in the transformational power of yoga.”
