Karen Knetter

Biography:

I came to yoga from years of competitive sports. Given the nature of our culture, in addition to my sports background, I look to yoga as a valuable space to non competitively nurture the subtle connections of mind and body. It’s you and your mat each practice, a chance to pause and feel and take care of yourself without comparing yourself to others. Although I gravitate to the classic Bikram-sequence, I enjoy a challenging slow vinyasa practice and gentle flows that emphasize the foundations of yoga. I’m thankful for the many teachers and students that have influenced me, and I continue to learn since receiving my 200 Hour Teacher Certification in 2017 (Inner Fire Teacher Training). I’m happiest when helping/encouraging others explore their own practice.
