Join us for a summer of outdoor fun, swimming and enrichment!
In line with our Harbor Mission of Train For Life, our Summer Camp program will keep your kids minds and bodies active all summer long. Our Summer Camp program was developed by two leaders with a background in education and recreation. Camp is for ages 7 and up and you can sign up by the week or for the entire summer (10 weeks).
Welcome to Summer Camp
- A small group (20 campers max) inclusive environment in which campers can grow as individuals, while also creating relationships and friendships lasting all summer and beyond!
- An active-centric approach, with lots of outdoor activities and games to promote teamwork and an active lifestyle.
- STEM activities and art projects.
- Flexible drop-off and pick-up times.
- Flexible daily sign-ups to fit your schedule.
- Discounted rate when you sign up for all four days in a given week
- Swimming every day in one of Harbor’s 4 swimming pools (one outdoor.)
- Weekly action-packed field trips including BigFoot Rope Course, Mallards Game, Cave of the Mounds, Vitense Golfland…and many more!!
- Energetic and fun-loving staff to ensure that your camper will have a great summer camp experience.
Pricing Details
Member Rate:
- $90 per day
- $20 discount if signing up for a whole week
Non-Member Rate:
- $120 per day
- $20 discount if signing up for a whole week

*Please note refunds will only be given if cancellations are received at least two weeks or more prior to the registered date. We are unable to accommodate refund requests if cancellation is given less than two weeks before your registered date.

Camp is offered Monday-Thursday from 8:30am to 3pm.

**Please note that for Wednesdays and Thursdays, some field trips may go past 2:30 and arrival back at Harbor may not be until right before 3pm.

What to Bring to Camp
We’ve got a busy day ahead for your camper! Here’s what they will need to bring to camp each day (except for Wednesday your field trip day!).
- Sunscreen- we recommend campers come with a layer of sunscreen already applied and bring backup sunscreen in case they need it. *Monday’s are an outdoor swimming pool day!
- Water bottle
- Swimsuit and a towel
- A snack and a lunch
- Bug spray? We will be outside a lot and exploring nature- if you would like to you may send bug spray with your camper
- Please make sure each camper’s gear is labeled with their name
Meet the Team
We know it’s important for you to know and trust who your kids will be spending the summer with. Meet our leadership team!
- John Wegner- Youth Program Director
- I am originally from Oshkosh, WI. I graduated from UW-Whitewater with a degree in Health, Human Performance, and Recreation. Before coming to Harbor I worked at two camps facilitating team building and leadership programs that included high/low ropes courses, rock climbing with ziplining, and outdoor education classes. I have been at Harbor as the Youth Fitness Director since 2013. I work in a variety of areas around the club, with youth programming being my focus including youth fitness classes, the After School Program, the Youth Enrichment Program, and Summer Camps.
Along with my bachelors degree, I am a NASM Certified Youth Exercise Specialist and I am CPR and First Aid certified.
I am excited about Harbor Summer Camp because I love working with kids, seeing them grow, and doing what I can to help them reach goals to become the best they can be!

- Brittany Pavlik- Youth Program Assistant
- I am originally from Janesville, WI. I graduated from Edgewood College with a Bachelor’s Degree in the Study of Education with a minor in Early Childhood Development. I began working at Harbor Athletic Club in 2016 in Kids Club. Since that time I have worn several hats at Harbor including a trainer for FIT4MOM, teaching LesMills Pump, Barre and Core classes, working at the front desk, as well as helping develop the roots of what is now our Youth Enrichment Program.
I am NASM Group Fitness Certified, and a NASM Certified Youth Exercise Specialist. I am also CPR and First Aid certified.
I am excited about Harbor Summer Camp because it really will combine two things that I am passionate about: leading educational programming and having fun! It is my hope to give every kid a fun, safe, & academically fulfilling experience that they look forward to being part of every day.

How to Register
- Harbor Athletic members may log in to their account to register below.
- Registration closes at 7:00am on Monday morning two weeks prior to the desired week.
- Non-Members and those interested in registering for the entire summer*, please email Brittany to register.
- 10% discount if you register for the whole summer.
When you register through ClubAutomation, please select “Group Ex” in the first drop-down, “2024” in the second drop-down, and “Programs” in the third drop-down.
Then, select “Summer Camp 2024” in the list of programs below. Finally, select your desired week and day to sign up.
