This week our theme was Recycling. All crafts and STEM activities this week involved recycled material that staff at Harbor has been collecting over the past few months- from kleenex boxes, to toilet paper rolls! We made bird houses and objects that could move. It was so great to see how each camper problem solved and engineered to make their objects move and stay together!
Our Field Trip took us to Middleton Sports Bowl. We had some amazing bowlers at Harbor Camp! The Campers were getting strikes and spares non stop! A great time was had by all….including the camp counselors.
This week we kept our bodies moving by trying out DanceFIT with Trainer Leah on Tuesday and Thursday. Campers did a circuit that focused on movement and learned a dance routine. We got outdoor play in with four square and had some super fun kickball games.
Recycling week has come and gone but we know our campers will keep recycling items for our projects and thinking about reducing and reusing!
